Compassionate, affirming care
Hello! I'm Karren, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-T (she/her). As a therapist I believe that every person's journey to mental and emotional well-being is unique. My practice is a safe, compassionate, affirming space for all where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I received my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. I have experience working with individuals, couples and families navigating childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Bipolar, personality disorders, religious wounding, infidelity and life transitions.
I am passionate about collaborating with clients on what best suits their needs. In my work I use what's called a systemic lens. This means I don't just focus on the individual issues but also look at how relationships, family, environment, and life experiences all connect and influence your well-being. It's about understanding the bigger picture of your life, rather than viewing things in isolation. Together, we'll explore how different areas of your life interact and affect each other, helping you make meaningful changes that improve your overall mental and emotional health. My approach draws on attachment-informed and body-based methods, blending evidence-based therapy with an intuitive understanding of the soul’s journey. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be you.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you are a self-aware client who ‘knows all the reasons’ they struggle but still feel stuck — lets work together to identify, and step into the life you desire. You deserve to feel seen, heard, and valued with compassion. If you’re feeling ready (or even just curious) to explore the next step on your healing journey, I invite you to reach out — I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
